Isaiah Rashad brought a sold out Lil Sunny’s Awesome Vacation” to the House of Blues Sunday night. Although The House of Blues announced their new COVID-19 Vaccination policy on their Facebook earlier that day instructing all guests to present their vaccination cards, that didn’t slow down ANYONE. With a line that wrapped around the building and down the street, Zaywop brought out fans from all over; vaccination cards and all.

Childish Major

Childish Major

Grammy-nominated and platinum selling producer and artist, Childish Major warmed the crowd up first. He has opened in Cleveland before and this was no exception; his energy and demeanor had the audience hype. When he performed his single, Disrespectful which features one of TDE’s own ScHoolboy Q the energy definitely roared as everyone recited the catchy chorus “Disrespectful.. you could neva”.

Ray Vaughn

TDE’s latest signee, Ray Vaughn came out and the crowd instantly started vibing with him. His charisma and playful demeanor instantly resonated with everyone as he danced across the stage while concert goers hyped him up yelling, “AYEEEE!”

When the stage cleared and the lights went down, the DJ dropped Darkseid from Isaiah Rashad’s latest album titled “The House is Burning” as the rapper made his way centerstage. The crowd erupted into a combination of cheers and screams while others rapped along. Showing city love while rocking a Cleveland Indians jersey with the hat to match, Zaywop coasted along while performing a multitude of tracks from The House is Burning, The Sun’s Tirade and Cilvia Demo. It was amusing to hear the crowd yell out the tracks they wanted to hear and taking side bets on what he would perform. During his set, he performed covers of Disrespectful by Childish Major and Top Shottas by Ray Vaughn as both artists emerged back onto the stage to perform alongside Zay. The crowd erupted again as they watched the performers have mutual admiration and respect towards one another as they rapped and danced.
