Flashback Friday: Macy Gray - I Try [VIDEO]

I Try by Canton Ohio's own Macy Gray is this week's Friday Flashback.  I Try was the second released single on her debut album, On How Life Is which dropped in 1999.

Macy has since released 9 other albums with her 10th album, Stripped (2016) being her first jazz recording.  Stripped debuted at number 3 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. 

You may have also caught Macy on a couple of television show, movies and even heard her uniquely raspy voice on cartoon and video game voice-overs.

Just to think.. she's another artist from Ohio who through hard work and determination is living her dreams.
