Greg Owens is a drummer, music producer, recording artist and songwriter from Columbus OH. He began his musical career as a drummer by the age of 2. Since a very young age, Greg has played at many churches, schools and different bands/ensembles. Greg is versatile in many genres such as gospel, jazz, funk, hip-hop, R&B and rock. He’s played on studio albums including Matthew Kiernan & G-Bop “First Fruits”, Sheri Wise-Chaffin “You Make Me Smile” and Deric Anderson’s upcoming project. In 2016, he served as a drummer for the inspirational stage play “Transition” starring the legendary Shirley Murdock. He currently serves as the drummer for Faith Ministries Church in Columbus OH. Owens is an accomplished music producer, recording artist, song writer and engineer. He has recorded and produced for many artists in Columbus, OH and Chicago, IL since the age of 13. His music video “Popular” has over 22,000 YouTube hits and has been featured on the radio on Power 107.5 in Columbus and Power 92.3 in Chicago IL. Greg Owens released his latest mixtape “The Greg Owens Project” in 2016. Owens has been recognized as apart of ‘Who’s Who in Black Columbus’ for many years as a ‘Future Leader.
